Dr. Erasmus Erebu Okello

Dr. Erasmus Erebu Okello is our attending physician and head, Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Erasmus received his medical degree at Makerere University, Kampala, before completing residency (Master of Medicine degree) in Anesthesiology at the same institution. He then completed subspecialty training in Critical Care Medicine at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

He has over 10 years’ experience in anesthesiology and critical care medicine and also serves as member of the teaching faculty at the department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care medicine at Makerere University.

Dr. Erasmus is passionate about the care of complex critically ill patients in the emergency department, general ward and intensive care. He also provides anesthesia care in acute and elective surgery for which he participates in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care. He is very passionate about pain-free labour championing and providing labour analgesia services to mothers giving life at TMR international hospital.
